The house

Casa Amarela (Yellow House) is a charming beach house designed by the local architect Camila Monaco da Cunha in 2012. It is located in front of the desert and paradise like beach Ponta do Ramo in Bahia, Brazil. Itacaré is only 35 minutes drive away and Ilheus airport is 40 minutes drive away.

The house is situated in a small fenced community, in a very calm neighborhood. The clear and thin sand of Ponta do Ramo Beach is no more than 50 meters right in front of Casa Amarela, nothing between the house and the sand strip, but coconut trees, and 20 minutes walk on the beach you will find the small Sargi village, where you can find small bars and restaurants. Between the house and Itacaré you can find Mata Atlantica forest reserves appointed by Unesco as nature heritage forests, with very nice trekking and famous surf spots in desert beaches.

Casa Amarela is built on a 1,000 square metres lot and the total built area is 105 square metres split into two buildings, one with two bedrooms and private bathrooms and the other building is a living room and a well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms hold beds for three people each, one being a queen sized bed and one single bed. Both bedrooms have sea views from the beds. A nice veranda surrounds the kitchen and living room, with cotton hammocks hanging for relaxing naps.
